Uruapan Michoacan National Park

My favorite park to travel to is the Parque Nacional Eduardo Ruiz located in Uruapan Michoacan.  The park is beautifully designed in rustic cobble stone paths, waterfalls, fountains, and water outlets that support the lush green tropical vegetation.

La Rodilla del Diablo (Devil's Knee) is the source of the Rio Cupatitzio, the river the runs through the park.  The clean water is cool to the touch, the air temperature actually drops as the water flows under the jungle canopy.  Water fountains are everywhere and the sound of crashing waterfalls can be heard throughout the park.  Once you decide to travel to Michoacan, the Parque Nacional in Uruapan should be priority!
